While updates are underway, we remain open and dedicated to providing clean, comfortable rooms and warm hospitality. We are a young, local family with a passion for creating inviting and well-maintained spaces. Our entrepreneurial journey began several years ago with the ownership of residential rental properties, where we developed a strong appreciation for quality, comfort, and the importance of

providing a positive living experience. That foundation inspired us to take the next step - a leap of faith into the hospitality industry. When the opportunity arose to purchase and revitalize a long-standing local motel, we saw it as a chance to expand our vision and bring that same level of care to travelers visiting our community. Today, our focus is on blending modern updates with small-town charm to create a clean, comfortable, and memorable stay for every guest. As we continue this transformation, we’re proud to invest in the future of Two Rivers and contribute to its growing reputation as a welcoming destination along the lakeshore

Office Renovation is complete!

Since purchasing the motel, we've been working through projects both interior and exterior, and one of the spaces we were most excited to transform was the office- the first impression guests receive when they arrive.

The original layout opened directly into our on-site manager's living space, so creating a welcoming and functional reception area quickly became a priority.

We're excited to share that the renovation is now complete! With a redesigned layout, custom reception desk, guest seating area, books and games, and updated finishes throughout, this space now reflects the direction we're taking the entire property.
We're incredibly proud of how it turned out and grateful for everyone who has supported us along the way. ❤️

But this is a big milestone for the transformation at Cool City Motel.

All 28 of our new exterior doors have arrived!

They are now being professionally sprayed before our subcontractor can begin installing them. Once the doors are installed, our new key card entry system provider will be able to schedule on-site installation of the software and complete staff training on the new system.

From what we bought → what it’s becoming

The new office door has been installed, and it’s already completely transformed this space and we just couldn't keep this transformation to ourselves!

We still have some landscaping to do and the new driveway is planned for this spring/summer which will completely transform the exterior.

Office update: We’re in the final stretch! We’re just waiting on the countertop, our custom sign for the sitting area, and a few finishing touches to complete the space. It’s been a productive weekend, and we’re excited to see it all come together. A special shout out to my husband for his amazing work and always bringing my vision to life!
