Nature’s best game of hide-and-seek. You invest in the best gear possible, only to be outsmarted by a bird that eats gravel and spots a single eyelash move from 40 yards away.

Plot twist: he’s already been spotted.

I’ve spent $400 on gas, $600 on gear, and 40 hours of sleep just to get outsmarted by a bird that eats grasshoppers. It’s not a hobby anymore; it’s a lifestyle choice I’m forced to defend. ☕️🦖 "

Taking some 'me time' in the woods. By which I mean I’m sitting in the dirt, covered in bug spray, waiting for a guy who literally gobbled at me and then disappeared. I deserve better than this. At least the coffee didn't stand me up.

The woods waking up…
coffee steaming…
and that first gobble echoing through the trees.

Hard to beat a spring morning like this. ☕🌿🦃
