WE MADE IT, BABY! GRALE GOODS IS ONE YEAR OLD!! 🎂🎈🥳

Our youngest Grale has officially survived its first trip around the sun! Against all odds, perhaps a little superstition, and a curse or two… if you know, you know. 👀

And what better day to celebrate than Halloween?! We’re throwing a little party with birthday magic, Halloween mischief, and a whole lot of FUN! No tricks, just treats!

🎂 $1 SLICES OF FUNFETTI BIRTHDAY CAKE! (And yes, it’s gluten-friendly!)
🎃 $8 HALLOWEEN GOODIE BOXES! Three spooky little treats, with a gluten-free option available.
🎨 The fabulous Ms. Izzy is here working her face-painting magic! Complimentary, first come, first served.
🎈 The fantastical Danger Dags is bringing the circus with balloon twisting, juggling, and a generally delightful ruckus!

And before we get too carried away with the hocus pocus, a little love letter…
Bringing this little dream to life has taken a village. To our incredible team, past and present, who have poured their hearts, hard work, creativity, and a whole lot of patience into this place. And to our neighbors, regulars, friends, family, and everyone who has shown up, cheered us on, and helped make this little corner of Bardstown Road feel like home… THANK YOU. We wouldn’t be here without you. 🖤

One year down. Hopefully many more to come 🧿 Come celebrate with us! 🎉

MEET THE W**EMAKER: CLOS DU GRAVILLAS 🇫🇷🍷
Friday, October 23 | 5–7 PM | Bar Grale
*Guided tasting at 6PM*

Join us this Friday for a special evening with Sacha Bojanowski of Clos du Gravillas, a small, family-owned w**ery nestled in Saint-Jean-de-Minervois, in the heart of France’s Languedoc w**e region.

Founded by Sacha’s parents, Nicole and John Bojanowski, Clos du Gravillas has a special connection to our own backyard: John is originally from Louisville, Kentucky! Together, the family has spent decades crafting expressive, terroir-driven w**es from the region’s rocky limestone soils, championing old vines, rare indigenous grape varieties, and a thoughtful, hands-on approach to w**emaking.

THE W**E 🍷
We’ll be pouring four w**es that showcase the wonderfully diverse character of the Languedoc, from mineral-driven whites to juicy, expressive reds.

RETOUR AUX ORIGINES | Terret Gris, Piquepoul Gris & Carignan Blanc
Vibrant and structured, with wildflower honey, citrus zest, and a firm, energetic texture.

L’INATTENDU | Grenache Blanc, Grenache Gris & Maccabeu
A beautifully textured, full-bodied white with creamy richness, bright citrus, and a long, stony mineral finish.

SOUS LES CAILLOUX DES GRILLONS | Syrah, Carignan, Grenache, Cabernet Sauvignon & Terret Noir
A fresh, juicy, lighter-bodied red with bright red fruit, silky texture, and soft tannins.

CÔTÉ OBSCUR | Carignan & Cabernet Sauvignon
The dark side of Gravillas! A deeper, fuller-bodied red with concentrated black fruit, earthy leather notes, and a firm but beautifully integrated tannic structure.

Enjoy any of the w**es by the glass or bottle, or explore all four with a $20 tasting flight.
Around 6 PM, John will lead a guided tasting in our w**e garden, sharing stories from the vineyard and the family’s w**emaking journey.

& CASSOULET…
A little taste of the French countryside! We’ll be serving our hearty, slow-cooked Cassoulet with freshly baked Grale Goods sourdough, a perfect companion to these beautiful Languedoc w**es.

It’s like picking a favorite child… but harder?

GRALEHAUS BREAKFAST SANDWICH 🖤
She’s our warm, rich, decadent girl. A little messy, a little unpredictable. She might fall apart on you mid-sentence, but her heart is pure butter.

Soft scrambled eggs, pimento cheese, Jake’s sausage, and our secret Haus sauce, all tucked into a freshly baked, buttery biscuit. She’s a lot. We love that about her.

OR

🌈GRALE GOODS
EGG SOUFFLÉ SANDWICH
Now this lady has her life together. She’s sophisticated, well-dressed, and has somewhere to be.

Cloud-like soufflé egg, Fischer Farms bacon, melty Swiss, Dijon cream, and fresh arugula on toasted ciabatta (or our house-baked gluten-free bread).

Layered. Textured. A little Fancy. She knows exactly who she is, and frankly, we admire her style & grace.

Two very different personalities. Two very good sandwiches. We don’t play favorites. But you can 🤣
