My name is Lori Hornback and I am a proud Veteran that has dedicated my entire adult life to supporting our military and helping others. Also a horsemen and past AQHA breeder we have been blessed to live a rancher lifestyle and share that with countless others including other Veterans. As I wind down my professional career in Aerospace and take stock in the need to do more for my fellow Veterans and family I have formed Honor Team. It is a Woman owned Veteran Company/Organization that helps train, house and provide services and outreach to our communities.
With the help of other Veterans and Patriots we are converting our horse ranch Harmony Oaks Resort and RV Park of Weatherford, TX to a Veteran outreach community, building housing, manufacturing custom products for sale and raising sustainable livestock. It will also be available to my fellow horsemen traveling to Ft Worth and the surrounding areas who want a safe and friendly place to stay.
Much has already been done to realize this vision and as things wind down overseas and with the toll this Pandemic has taken on us all the time is now to put this fully in motion. We are reaching out to any and all to join this movement in your own communities as well. Here, those with the greatest need will help build their own homes and help build others that will be offered to the public to fund the operation of the ranch. We have artists, teachers, law enforcement, and countless others who have/will participate, including a Merchantile for people to offer their work. The website will be up shortly and until then I will keep you informed of our progress here. God bless y'all and thank you 💖🙏
