One thing being a business owner has taught me is that social media isn’t the only thing that grows a business. 🤎
In a world where it feels like everybody is creating content, trying to go viral, and talking about being fully booked, I think we sometimes forget how powerful word-of-mouth really is.
I’m not the most consistent content creator, and that’s something I’m actively working on. I know that in order to grow my brand even more, I have to show up online more often. But even in the seasons when I’m not posting as much as I should, I’m still blessed with an amazing clientele, returning clients, and new faces finding their way to my business through recommendations and referrals.
And that means so much to me. Because somebody trusting my work enough to recommend me to their friends, family, or coworkers is a different kind of support. 🥹🤎
It reminds me that building a business isn’t just about being seen online. It’s about the experience you give people, the relationships you build, and the reputation you create when nobody is watching.
I’m grateful for every client who has supported me, referred somebody to me, shared my work, or trusted me with their lashes. Y’all have played a part in keeping this business growing, even during seasons when I haven’t been showing up online as consistently as I’d like.
I’m still learning, still growing, and still working toward becoming the content creator and business owner I envision for myself. But I’m also learning to appreciate the blessings I already have while working toward what’s next.
Word-of-mouth is still powerful. Good work still speaks. And I’m grateful that mine continues to reach people. 🖤
