We are finishing our final touches of set up in the morning and will be ready for KC PrideFest '26. We would like to thank Shook Hardy & Bacon LLP for sponsoring us and we look forward to helping as many people as we can this weekend to enjoy the music, vendors, and most important the love this event embodies.
Some interesting (to us) facts about KC Mobility Scooter Rentals
We have the largest hospitality based (Non-medical/non-insurance) mobility scooter rental fleet serving Kansas City Metro, Lawrence and Topeka (due to grass terrain, only our scooters capable of the grass will be present.)
We are a family operated, Latino and disabled veteran owned business.
My wife and I are highschool sweethearts and have been together since we were 15 and 16 years old, thoughout 20 years of Active Duty Service to include multiple deployments and overseas tours.
August will be our 23 year anniversary.
We are a convention level partner for Visit KC
We sponsor Runstars TRACK CLUB annual track meet providing mobility scooters.
We are the only local service that provide rentals (delivery) to KC Renaissance Festival
We have previously served as the preferred mobility equipment vendor for UnidosUS , United Church of Christ , Lions Clubs International and Deaf Seniors of America and many other conventions in Kansas City
The concept of this business started in 2023 while I was driving halfway across the country from Kansas to Pennsylvania to attend a funeral around 1am while listening to a podcast about a man who started a similar business in Los Angelos and I decided this was a way I can give back to the Kansas City Metro community after retiring from the Army.
I have a youtube channel called where I give a behind the scene look on How I Started A Mobility Scooter Rental Business
Last fact I truly appreciate KC Pride reaching out to us to do our first outdoor festival, from the phone calls, to the emails, to meeting me in person to address safety concerns yall have been exceptional in working together to offer a service at Pride Fest. Thank you for challenging our capabilities, pushing what we thought were our organization's limitations and trying to make this event as inclusive to others.
