We've mapped our Froggy Mountain Warrior 100 February backyard fundraiser for and veteran su***de prevention and awareness. The strava looks crazy but the switchbacks are well distanced and entertaining 😊 We've removed most all roots l, rocks and fallen trees ( left a few for fun!) but because its primarily on single track deer trails we'll call it moderately technical, you have to pay attention! Each loop will be extremely well marked and numbered to help with mind games. Youll have hot food, bonfires, warm aid station and heated indoor space with kitchen & bathrooms for naps/crew etc. Low cost, generous cutoff and $50 from each entry fee supports the families of the fallen. If youre looking for a winter trail race with a ' safety net ' come join us! Much less vert than our Froggy course, there are no extended climbs, the vert is broken up into short rolling climbs both directions. Its a great course for strong power hiking.
We dont have vert nailed down yet, est 16k... will have that info soon. 5.6 ish mi out & backs.

We had a dirt bike visitor at Froggy and we were proud and amused that it couldn't make it up our big climb 😁🐸💯🤘💪

Blazing thru our tornado damage, planning a 5 mile out & back, 10-15k vert guesstimate at present, for our Warrior 100 race in February, a fundraiser for an organization that honors and support the victims of veteran su***de and their families. 🇺🇲🩵🐸

Doing some trail building @ Froggy Mountain Adventures We are working on a longer, gradual elevation gain, out and back with switchbacks so that we can hold our February Warrior 100 miler here. No permit costs means our fundraising efforts for will be as generous as possible, also offering a heated indoor space for runners and crew to be able to cook & warm up in the winter temps of late Feb. Stay tuned for the out & back distance & vert, it will hopefully be significantly more runner friendly than our Froggy Mountain 100 with 50k feet of climb. 😅🐸💪🇺🇲🩵🥶
