The Hixton Rod & Gun Club-Park & Campground is a club consisting of a few members of the community dedicated to hunting, shooting sports and community.

We offer a gun range for members. Public camping with a self-service registration. The Hixton Rod & Gun Club Park & Campground is located one mile East of Hixton on Hwy 95. The Gun Club has trap shooting leagues in the Spring, Fall and Winter along with some Saturdays and the Field Day is every August. The campground has 13 self-service campsites and has a playground area for the kids along with a ball field. There is a picnic area and a shelter to rent that is perfect for small gatherings or celebrations like weddings, reunions or graduation parties.

Saturday, July 4th shoot was another amazing day at the club. We had 55 shooters. Congratulations to Lorin Reding & Dallas Thoma for tying for 1st place!

Thank you to everyone that came out to support our club! Our clubhouse addition is coming along and should be done for our next shoot which is scheduled for Friday night, August 21st.

We had a great turnout yesterday for our Friday night 50 Bird "Condor shoot." We had 72 shooters with Fred Giese taking first place with a straight 50.

The American Civil War Shooting Association, Wisconsin Company G had their Civil War era cannon on display and was shot twice Friday night. They also had a spot where people could shoot Civil War musket.

The family of Randy "Condor" Blazek donated a beautiful bench in memory Randy.

Thank you for everyone that purchased tickets for the raffle. The winner of the Stoger Condor sh***un was Dale Smith from BRF.

The Christmas Shoot scheduled for Saturday, December 13, 2025, has been cancelled due to the extremely cold temperatures anticipated on Saturday. A high temperature of 5 degrees is forecasted for Saturday.
