Beautiful morning with my good friend Jeff Cooper. It was a multi species day of crappie, perch, saugeye, white bass bluegill and a catfish! Water temp was 64 and dead calm! This was a fat 14.25 crappie first thing in the morning! Great way to start the day.

In my over 10 years of guiding on Caesar Creek I’ve met some amazing people and made many new friends! But today I was truly blessed and humbled to meet Lydia! This young lady has been deaf since birth! To see the joy in her face when she caught fish and even handed out minnows  graciously! Things we take for granted like someone telling you that you have a fish on or how great you did landing a fish! But Lydia saw it in my face and returned the most amazing smiles! A special shout out to Lydia’s mom who I did not have the pleasure of meeting but to know she drives 3 hours everyday to take Lydia to school is truly the work of an Angel!!
