The Great Ice Cream Run The GREAT Ice Cream Run 8: July 29 - August 3, 2023 from Staunton, VA to Mackinaw City, MI You can reserve your hotel room by credit card.

Welcome to The GREAT Ice Cream Run 8

- Make your calendar for the Great Ice Cream Run 8 feeder route to MOTM, July 29 to August 3, 2023

- The ice cream run 8 will begin at Staunton VA. I plan overnight stops at Charleston WV, Cincinnati OH, Dearborn MI, South Haven MI and St Ignace MI. In addition to 2-3 ice cream or donut stops daily, we will visit the US Air Force Museum Dayton OH and Henry Ford Museum. After the end of our run, we will join up with MINI on the Mack on Aug 4-5. If you plan to participate please be sure to register @ MINI On The Mack as they attempt to break the world record again!

- I have set up a group hotel of 20 rooms at each overnight stop for our group. The hotels will not charge you until the day of the check out. Please book your room early, especially at the Comfort Suites South Haven. Because the cut off date is on May 5, 2023. It's only a month away! - You can do the entire run with the group all the way from Staunton, VA to Mackinaw City, MI or just join us for a day or two as we pass through your area. As before, this event is limit to 20 MINI Cooper. Registration is free and I do not plan to sale t-shirts this year. Note: This MINI road trip event is organized by a MINI Cooper owner without any clubs affiliation.

Please download and save a copy of the ice cream run itinerary on your phone or a tablet. It will become handy during the trip. It includes turn-by-turn Google maps and Garmin GPS files, hotels and ice creams and links to all our planned stops.

For all who have GARMIN GPS, if you plan on using your GPS and want to download the ice cream run daily routes with turn-by-turn directions. Please make sure to download GPX files and program your Garmin GPS before the trip.

If you want to do the Ford Rouge Factory Tour. Please make sure to buy a ticket in advance for Wednesday August 2nd @ 9:20am. I bought 2 tickets this morning. There are 18 tickets left for the 9:20am tour.

T - 7 days and counting. Are you ready? Please get your MINI check out before the trip. T-shirts arrived and looks really good. Swag bags done! Flow MINI of Raleigh also has given us almost $600 of MINI merchandise for raffles during the trip.
