Bluegrass Family, let's share this post and get these shoes filled. I know there are some incredible men in our community who would make perfect CASAs! What do you say???

Men, it's time to answer the call - April is Child-Abuse Awareness month. We are in need of any volunteers, but are we are in desperate need of male volunteers! Historically retirees, veterans, teachers, and first-responders have done great in these roles, but anyone is welcome. Some of these children have never had a positive male role model, and CASA's all over the country step up to the plate and change their lives forever. It has never been a more important time for Venango County to show the world that WE CARE ABOUT OUR KIDS. Call today, and we will support you every step of your way to becoming a CASA! 814 670 0550

What are you looking forward to this year at the festival? We will have not 1 not 2 but 3 instruments on our raffle this year! Lots of great baskets! Oh yes and lets not forget about the t-shirts! Who has a shirt from years past? 1 week to go!! Who is excited?

What's your favorite thing about Oil Country Bluegrass Festival? Next weekend the Oil Country Bluegrass Festival family will get together and support CASA Venango County, Pa and Oil City Arts Council whom have two very different missions, but they both create a better community for everyone. CASA volunteers advocate for abused and neglected children, and OCAC empowers local creatives.

Both missions make our community a more beautiful place. Bluegrass fans gather at this festival every year to celebrate these missions, contribute to fundraisers through the games and raffles, and enjoy some of the greatest Bluegrass bands and solo acts in the Western PA region. It's truly an incredible day and sometimes the music is so good, that we can forget that these musicians are providing much more than music. They are providing a soundtrack to a day that drives our community forward to a better place, together!
