🐥💔There are MANY qualities of Tracie Cyr that are admirable & inspiring. The Hobby Hen House would not be if it wasn’t for Tracie. Recognizing our dreams of opening a Craft Retreat, she allowed us the use of her home once it became vacant. Her brother renovated it for us & Tracie continued to have her head in every decision we made for our blossoming business. This act of generosity is proof of Tracie’s love & commitment to others. Her strength was obvious up until her last day with us, a life FULL of accomplishments, dreams, & ambition, never letting her disabilities get in the way. Her compassion for animals & the love they felt from her was evident in the 3 furry family members who came to her side as she took her last breath. Her resilience (or stubbornness 🤣) was apparent in staying here as long as she could to see her beloved Mariners WIN. Her smarts were valued & respected in the 45 years she spent working for Allsop as their accountant. Her love for others is treasured in the zillion phone calls, texts, emails, & messages her family has received once news hit of her passing. Her humor is enjoyed in the many stories being shared of her sassy & sarcastic conversations she’s had with others. On Saturday, October 11, 2025, Tracie passed away peacefully with us, her loved ones by her side. Her positive presence & never-ending loyalty to those she adored will be missed. The house feels empty, but our hearts are full with the love she poured into them by just being her. As you walk the hall at The Hobby Hen House please admire the framed stitchwork that Tracie created using her teeth, proof of the admirable quality of “never give up.” RIP Tracie. We love you. 🐥💔
