Welcome to the Lake Fort Smith Frontier Lodge website, where you'll find great deals and packages for our lodge. Come see for yourself why Lake Fort Smith Frontier Lodge is a favorite getaway destination for Northwest Arkansas. Built in 2002 with cathedral ceilings and exquisite wood work Situated near Lake Fort Smith, with beautiful mountain views, our lodge features a very secluded and roomy place for your larger families comfortably sleeps 14 adults and is equipped with 2 kitchens, 5 bedrooms, 2 baths, 2 rustic living rooms, 2 dining areas, washer and dryer, and formal dining area with a large bar with bar stools. Be sure and not pass up the special we are running this month on 3 or more nights stay. Lake Fort Smith is now open featuring fishing and boating dock, heated pool, soothing hot tub, barbecue facilities, horse shoes, and more.

Thinking about starting out 2024 with a first of the year hike?

Just in case our Waterfall Maps can help motivate you, here they are to save you a scroll - map links are in comments below.

But before you go, did you know that you can apply filters? Both our BIG map (800 Falls) and our Easy Access/ Short Hike map (80 Falls) has a few filters you can select to remove / add the layers of perceived hiking ability.

To do that:
1. When you’ve opened the map, tap the white title bar at the bottom
2. Tap on the ‘view legend’ wording.
The map legend explains the color coding for the pins and symbols.
3. As you scroll down, you’ll see blue check marks on the left - these can be unchecked by tapping on them, and will remove the pins in the layer that you don’t want to show on the map.

Consider us simply charmed!!! 🐶 Y’all, meet SUPER LEEDS! This dynamic, charming and spirited pup has been selected as our “unofficial official” Arkansas & Oklahoma National Forests Pet of the Year, and will be featured here until National Pet Day on April 11. Super Leeds is the four-legged companion to one of our biggest Forest fans- Waterfalls In AR & Other Cool Places. We appreciate all they do together to celebrate your public lands and help you experience the Natural State they way it should be…naturally! Super Leeds is going to show you a few of his favorite spots on the Ouachita and Ozark-St. Francis National Forests in the next few days, but he’s also hoping to see some other furry friends enjoying the National Forests, too. Post your favorite pictures of your adventure companions in the comments so he can make some new friends and maybe reconnect with some old ones.
