last night as I was grilling chicken for dinner, sipping a bit of lemoncello, I turned around to find a black bear sitting on the hillside above The Carver's House watching. I yelled at him in no uncertain terms that, chicken was not in his future...he licked his chops a time or two, blinked his eyes, got up and sauntered away along the hillside.
