The Red Moose Lodge provides a unique setting on the banks of the Pere Marquette River, a river nationally known for its' scenic beauty and year-round fishing opportunities. Situated at the headwaters of the fly-only section of the Pere Marquette River, it affords convenience and comfort unique to the area and is a wonderful place to begin your relaxation. Walk from your room and step into the river to sample salmon, steelhead or the year-round trout fishing. Canoeing, golfing, hiking, skiing, snowmobiling, or watching the sunset over Lake Michigan, all can be enjoyed within a short drive from the lodge.

We have rooms open all week and weekend if looking for a vacation. All Spring, Summer and Fall Atv, Dirtbikers and Side by Side owners enjoy the hundreds of miles of trails. Local fishing on lakes and rivers produce Bass and Pike and Panfish. Paddle Sports on the Pere Marquette River. Ludington offers big open water Charter Boats for 2 kinds of Salmon and 3 kinds of Trout.
Summer is short book a trip on the river or lakes is never a bad way to spend a day. 4th of July is over and the rest of Summer will fly by..Call 231-745-6667 to plan a vacation.

We have been back since Feb. 25th..Rented a few rooms Feb 26,27th. and a few other after that..So were up and running..75 % of the snow is gone..Got a pretty good rain today and the river went from 64cm to 70cm on the stick in the back yard..Got out on the river Tue March 3rd with my friend Russ. Got a few Browns and hooked some Steelhead, fun fun..Steelhead season is hear and Trout are biting too. It would be a good idea to call us for rooms and guided trips soon.. 231-745-6667..

Hi All
Our Winter stay in the Flordia Keys is coming to an end next week.The Lodge re-opens Febuary 27th.. I still have a fair number of days open to fish this Spring if your intrested in a half or full day guided trip on the Pere Marquette River..We have been watching the nice warm up from afar and are excited to come home and get back to fishing and normal everyday life in Michigan. We pray the roads will be kind to us as we travle back N. A few pics from last Spring to get the mind flowing towards Spring. Enjoy.
