Greenbo Lake SCUBA Refuge 10 Acres, of Greenbo Lake State Resort Park (Kentucky), set aside for SCUBA Divers. Open April-October 10 -6 Daily Dive $12. Check in at Lodge.

Dive season dates have changed. The refuge is now open from May 1st through November 30th.

The Cleanup is this coming Saturday. We are meeting at the Marina at 9:00. We have turned it into a park cleanup, and I am also doing some in water maintenance/ additions. Come dive for free.

Greenbo Lake is hosting a SCUBA Refuge and shoreline cleanup on September 10th 2022.

Certified Divers can clean in the lake while other volunteers will be cleaning along the shore.

There will be some free handouts and a raffle for some nice dive related items.

Lunch will be provided.

Not at Greenbo (it was at Laurel River Lake) but I use the same philosophy when diving Greenbo. Leave it cleaner than when you got there.

Doing a little cleanup while taking a break from videoing OW students, at teh Laurel River Lake Dam. Found several pull tab beer cans.

Unfortunately due to red tape from state parks, and COVID, it looks like the cleanup on September 18’th will have to be canceled. I hope to be able to hold a Dive Day by the end of October, but time will tell.

I will post when I have more info.
