The Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 112 proudly represents the men and women who serve as Deputy Sheriffs for Prince George’s County. Today, we are proud to stand alongside the Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 89, Prince George's County Professional Fire Fighters & Paramedics Association IAFF Local 1619, Bowie Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 140, University of Maryland FOP Lodge 23, Maryland-National Capital Park Police FOP Lodge 30, the Maryland Fraternal Order of Police, and UFCW Local 1994 MCGEO in endorsing Ronald Oliver for Sheriff of Prince George’s County.

This endorsement reflects the collective voice of our membership, expressed through a formal vote and informed by both internal feedback and daily on-the-job experience. At its core, this decision is about public safety. The safety of the families and businesses of Prince George’s County is a responsibility we do not take lightly.

Ron Oliver has dedicated more than 42 years of service to the people of Prince George’s County, both as a Sheriff’s Office leader and as a firefighter. He understands what it means to serve, to lead, and to protect a community.

Our members had the opportunity to work alongside Ron during his time as Assistant Sheriff for the Prince George’s County Sheriff’s Office. Based on that experience, we are confident that as Sheriff, he will lead with professionalism, accountability, and a commitment to serving the entire community. He will be a Sheriff for everyone.

On June 23, 2026, we encourage you to vote for Ron Oliver for Sheriff of Prince George’s County. Vote for safety. Vote for security. Vote for a Sheriff who stands for all.
