Thanks to our amazing members, BPOE #83 was recently able to donate over $72,000 to our local 501c3 Charities!!!! Another great year to help so many!!! We were able to help All Species Adoption, Angeline Industries, Big Nut Scholarships, CASA, Frank Shuleski Scouting, Hannah House, Wyandot Health Foundation, Jacob Davidson Scholarship, NAMI Northwest, Open Door Resource, PUT Euthanasia, Rams Boosters, Star Players, City of Upper-Fireworks, Fantasy of Lights, Wyandot Co 4H, Wyandot Co Connections, Wyandot Co Midget League, Wyandot Co Young Professionals, and Wyandot Co Conservation! Amazing!

PER Dan Smith recently collected items to be donated to the Veterans Home in Sandusky. Partnering with Carey VFW Post #3759 and Carey American Legion Post #344 they were able to raise funds over $4,000 in donations and items and along with our ENF Gratitude Grant of $2,500 we were able to buy clothing with the help of Kimmel Corporation to be donated as well!
What an amazing opportunity to show our Veterans “That we will always remember them”. Great job to all those involved!

Applications for the Most Valuable Student scholarship are now open! The Elks National Foundation will award 500 scholarships to the highest-rated applicants in the competition, ranging from $4,000 to $30,000 over four years. No relation to the Elks is necessary to apply.

Our annual Backpack Food Panty program event was held this weekend, we gave away $4,500 in food and $1,000 in backpacks to Upper Sandusky, Carey, and Sycamore food pantries! Partnering with local grocery stores as well as Kimmel Corporation this event couldn't happen without their support and assistance. We also want to Thank our 760 members who assist us in making this possible!

Final drawing tonight, Ken Bather was the lucky winner of $100...…and then we held the Sponsorship drawing for a Kimber 357 and the lucky winner was Gary Ault! Thank for everyone who made this event possible!
