Rose-Wiles Bed & Breakfast

Rose-Wiles Bed & Breakfast We’re Tracy and Camala. We’ve created a space where everyone is welcome—no matter who you are or where you come from.

Located in a lovingly restored 100-year-old home in Valdosta, Georgia, our B&B is more than a place to sleep—it’s a place to belong.

Valdosta State University’s graduation is coming! -May 8th and 9th. We are one block away from the university. In fact, the ceremonies can be heard from our front lawn. We have full availability!

Although we’re typically only open on the weekends (Friday – Sunday), we are happy to make accommodations for this special event.

The visit with Sarah Frano and her family was incredible enough for many reasons, but a few weeks after they left I got this beautiful package in the mail. This exquisite, custom, handmade gift is beautiful and truly looks perfect on our coffee bar. Almost all the embellishments you see on the wall and in this room were gifts from people we love and who love us. There’s magic here that’s more than just the good coffee.

I love to cook but admittedly have a lot to lean! I’ve been watching Ina Garten and Erin French from The Lost Kitchen a lot! And if I’ve learned anything, it’s that experimenting and trying and re-trying is the way you learn. So tonight is an experiment. I don’t expect it to turn out very well because I’ve never used orange zest in a recipe before and as it turns out, it’s a very strong flavor. This is a mashup of Ina’s sweet potato purée recipe, and my mother-in-law‘s sweet potato casserole recipe. And as you can see, I forgot to use brown sugar and instead used white sugar. Needless to say this will be interesting.

What a wonderful welcoming place to stay when in Valdosta. The breakfast is wonderful and the hospitality.~ Shannon S.
