Family fun at the Fairgrounds starts tomorrow. Spend a few nights in Van Wert and make it a long weekend before the children get seriously involved in their studies. Build your summer memories at the Fair and remember to go over to the booth that is selling FRESHLY CUT FRIES! THEY ARE THE BEST!!!! I spoke with the owner yesterday and she told me they have been running this fresh cut fries business since 1936. So get those FRIES, I know I will get some. ENJOY THE FAIR AND REMEMBER WE STILL HAVE ROOMS AVAILABLE AT THE INN.

Vidya won again! She convinced me to take her to Niagra Falls before school started this Monday. Even though I have been there several times, it is still one of the most beautiful sites. I think this is the first time I saw fireworks over the falls so that was a treat when we got there on Wednesday night. We stayed at the Oasis Motel and it was a nice mom and pop motel. All within walking distance from all the attractions and one third the price of other hotels. I will get photos up soon.

Yesterday, I went to Fort Wayne to return the returnable after finishing the window project. Now, we are working on painting the large two rooms above the office. It will look fantastic as we have a painting expert giving us a hand. It looks like he will do a terrific job and has the project in complete control. Thank you JACK for all your hard work, we appreciate you!!!!

She is tired of her stuffed puppy.... She even makes her own bed and showing more responsibility in the hopes to get herself a new puppy. How sweet, she wants a puppy that will meow... Haha. She is soooo silly. She decided no she wants a puppy that has a real bark not a meow.

Membership tickets, season tickets, ride armbands, Junior Fair passes and tickets for all events are available at the office and other convenient locations in the county, check the list below.

ROCK'N ROLL band Broken Lights is scheduled in the Entertainment Tent on Monday, September 1, for those looking for a way to celebrate after the horse races on Labor Day.
