To provide staff and members with the cleanest air possible, we recently installed Global Plasma Technology (GPS) into our air filtration system that sends out high concentrations of positive and negative ions into the air. The oppositely charged ions work to remove airborne particles, neutralize odors and reduce pathogens in the air including COVID-19 by up to 90%. Keeping you safe is our first priority. The Heathman Lodge was designed to express the beauty and spirit of the Pacific Northwest and bring the outdoors to into the city. Craftsmen built the Heathman Lodge of wood from the Northwest forests, using fir, cedar, spruce, and pine. Designs from nature and the Northwest Indian culture inspired the paintings, carvings, textiles and sculpture by local artist.

A waterfall tucked away in the Columbia River Gorge, and a trail worth adding to your Oregon list. 🌿

Bridal Veil Falls is a two-tiered waterfall surrounded by moss-covered trees, ferns, and the kind of greenery that makes the Pacific Northwest so special.

The hike is about 1.4 miles round trip, with a forested path, stairs, and an overlook where you can take in the beauty of the falls. If you want to get a closer look, the lower trail leads down to a viewing area near the base of the waterfall.

You’ll find the trailhead just off the Historic Columbia River Highway, about 35 miles from The Heathman Lodge. It’s a great stop if you’re spending the day exploring the Gorge, especially if you’re pairing it with other nearby waterfalls and scenic viewpoints.

A little fresh air, a forest trail, and the sound of water rushing down the rocks. Sometimes, that’s all you need.

She loves bringing people together, creating memorable experiences, and building relationships with our guests, clients, and community.
