Made a few changes in the Highland Bin today between guests...
1. We FINALLY added a small microwave.
2 and 3. Switched out our Futon to a small Couch. The futon had gotten a tear in the seat that didn't look nice. This one will work for awhile till I find one that I like.
4. The living room looks much larger without furniture.

Some fun shots when out doing yardwork today. With non stop rain lately its a big job keeping up with all the yard work. It looks so good tho all mowed up!
And Buddy our Highland Bull was looking all handsome while guests fed the cows a few nights ago.

New build Update!
All ceilings are in, half of the drywall, some wallpaper is hung, and most of the electrical and plumbing is finished. Next up... hang the rest of the drywall, finish it and paint, bathrooms and kitchen. Then flooring!
Looking at an Estimated "hopeful" opening date of the middle to end of July!

So start planning your end of summer /fall getaway with your friends!

Ok.. I need your help!
New build has 2 queen bedrooms and 2 smaller bedrooms that I had planned to use 2 twins in. Well, they don't fit as I had thought beside each other.. and we reeaally didn't want to do bunkbeds again. But maybe that's the best option?

Thoughts on the corner layout? It would have a built in bookshelf of sorts till fill in the corner space and pull it together. Remember we already have 2 queen rooms, so this would most times be a kids room, but may sometimes sleep adults. And not sure these actual bedframes will be used. May do a "built in" type bed frame.

I need to figure it out so we can do the electrical and lights this week.

A beautiful day in Missouri! Bookings are rolling in for the summer months. Multiple a day right now, so those weekends will all be full in short order! I do have a VERY rare Saturday night open in the Corral this weekend. Perfect Mother's day gift 😉 link in bio.

It's the perfect weather for Haywagon rides and our guests have been taking advantage! Rolling out to see the back fields every few days. Sometimes we see deer, turkey or just pretty sunsets! And of course one must stop to feed the Cows!
