I have been waiting patiently for this one plant to.flower, not really knowing if it is a green plant or wildflower. As I have been waiting, the japanese beetles have been feasting on its leaves. I began to kill.some of them and felt that it was not in harmony with who I am so I stopped and allowed for those little beasts to continue to fear on the delicate yet extremely tall leafy green plant. Curiously, I waited because I had it planted in one of my experimental containers due to the fact that I had forgotten to label or remember its name or existence. After observing for a few months, I woke up this morning to notice 3 soft yellow flowers peaking from its tatteredness. I was still adjusting to waking and walked over to notice this little beauty. I have yet to look up the name. it's not that important to me right now. What is important is the fact that I waited to see what it would become. through its tall leafy growth, to its buggy nature, there it is a fabulous sight.

The natural world constantly shows us the interconnectedness of all things. Trees, with their ancient wisdom and life-giving energy, create environments that nurture balance and well-being. This stark temperature difference between tree-lined streets and barren roads reminds us that even the smallest presence of nature can cool down our heated lives—literally and figuratively. Nature’s subtle power guides us to remember that we are part of this vast web of life, and every action, no matter how small, can contribute to a more harmonious world. How can you reconnect with nature today?

The future of buildings might just look a little greener. Dutch engineers have come up with a revolutionary idea: bricks that grow moss! These “living” bricks don’t just look cool – they also help to purify the air, absorb CO2, and even cool buildings naturally. Imagine living or working in a building that’s practically a breath of fresh air!

This innovation could be the game-changer we need for the environment. With more buildings in cities, the air quality can suffer. These moss-covered bricks might just offer a natural solution to urban pollution, all while giving buildings a unique, green look.

Not only will this reduce carbon footprints, but it also brings nature back into the cities in a practical, sustainable way. Who knew that bricks could be so much more than just bricks?
