Seven days without Dolly, and the world feels a little quieter. Out here beneath the wide Powderhorn sky, her light still lives on. In the wildflowers, the open road, the whispering pines, the music, the streams, the wind and reminds us to lead with our lives kindness and love.

We miss her sparkle, her strength, and her one of a kind heart. Here’s to Dolly. We hope heaven is a little brighter now that she’s there. 🤍

Snacks, a mountain drive, and the sound of the river at Powderhorn… Honestly didn’t take much convincing. 😌🏔️🌲 Some plans are just too good to say no to, and this one definitely made the list.

Rain is finally falling over The Powderhorn in Gould, Colorado right now and it couldn’t come at a better time.

It’s been painfully dry this summer. The grass is parched, the creeks are running low, and the whole high country has been thirsty for weeks. We’ve needed rain bad, and we’ve been watching the sky like everyone else up here. 🌤️

So when this storm rolled in, we were more than ready. Every drop is a gift soaking into the soil, feeding the meadows, and giving the land a real chance to breathe again. Grateful doesn’t even cover it. 🙏 🌧️ 🥰
