Are you a business serving the greater Wareham area? Are you looking to develop relationships with other business leaders serving the same markets?

If so, visiting our Networking Group may be a good idea. We meet on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays, from 8:15 to 9:30 at the Gleason Family YMCA in Wareham.

We discuss how we can improve client satisfaction, how we can better serve our clients, how we can solve our clients' issues, and how we can work to build our businesses.

We've heard from a few businesses that they are "too busy", or that business is "too good" to network, but remember, it is best to "build your well before you are thirsty". Building relationships - with other business leaders, referral partners, or with clients takes time.

We welcome visitors - our next meeting is Wednesday, June 10. No RSVP needed - hope you can visit!

What happened on the fourth Wednesday of May? We had our "twice monthly" meeting, where we shared success stories of improving client services, learned about financial investments, and more!!

Our educational moment was presented by Tiffany Jewers of Salt and Light OBM. Tiffany talked about the importance of collaboration between businesses, and the synergy created - "1+1 can equal 3". Great tips, and a challenge to the members to find and work with another business.

Our featured speaker was Steven Galavotti of Mutual of Omaha Financial Advisors. Steve gave an overview of some financial instruments (stocks, bond, mutual funds), as well as talking about the importance of saving ANYTHING - everyone needs to start somewhere - even at $25/month.

Steve is available for consultations, so whether you have a small business, work at a "regular job", or you are just interested in preparing for your financial future, please reach out.

Our next meeting is June 10 - same time and place: Gleason Family YMCA from 8:15 to 9:30. Our featured speaker will be Matthew from T.M. Ryder Insurance Agency Inc..

Another "second Wednesday", another meeting of the Networking Group USA - Gateway Chapter -Wareham, MA at the Gleason Family YMCA. We are so fortunate to have a community center provide space for our meetings - like they do for so many community-based organizations. Not only is the facility a great fitness center, but it supports several local organizations as well.

Our featured presenter was Geoff Worrell NMLS ID #12394 - Northpoint Mortgage. Geoff talked about a new program for investors, where the qualification criteria are based mostly on the income from that property, rather than the personal income of the applicants! Congratulations to Bill of Lawns More who won the raffle prize. (See an example of Bill's work in the photo below.)

Tina Pittsley presented the educational moment that focused on the importance of having clear communication with your clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders.

In just 23 hours from now, the Gateway Chapter of NGU will be meeting at the Gleason Family YMCA in Wareham.

WHY? Our group of a dozen professionals will be discussing how we can improve client services, how our products and services can help solve issues our clients have, and share information on how others can benefit from our relationships.

Our featured speaker will be Geoff Worrell NMLS ID #12394 - Northpoint Mortgage. Geoff will talk about an innovative series of products that enable people to buy investment properties - many more people are buying "retirement homes" now, planning to keep them for 10-25 years, and then planning to renovate and move into them at the right time. GREAT meeting today - our featured 8 minute speaker was Dina Driscoll Nichols of Homes With Dina Nichols. Dina spoke about how the "ADUs" (Accessory Dwelling Units) are becoming more popular, and how there are some challenges to getting one approved and built in the area! This topic was interesting to many members for business opportunities, including

And remember, Networking Group USA LLC knows that while attendance and participation is critical, there are times when you need a substitute - and that's OK! Today - Marcus of ZER0 Systems was a substitute for Stefano Nigro Plumbing & Heating Inc - as he was serving a client!

Just completed our meeting - over a dozen LOCAL professionals gathered to discuss client service improvement ideas and share highlights of product solutions.

Special thanks to our featured presenter, Bill Oaks of Lawns More, who discussed his breadth of product offerings that help make his (over 100) clients’ grounds look amazing. Serving the Wareham area for over 15 years, Bill is looking for clients and additional team members.

Steven Galavotti led our educational moment, reinforcing the call for visitors and how our visitors have helped our members’ clients resolve issues. (Next meeting is 4/22 at 8:15 to 9:30 at the Gleason Family YMCA - all welcome)
