That’s a wrap on another horseback riding season at Kah-Nee-Ta. 🌾

Thank you to everyone who joined us on the trail this summer, exploring the rolling hills and high desert landscapes of Warm Springs from a different point of view.

Horseback tours have always offered a beautiful way to experience the sacred land around us, and we loved sharing it with so many of you.

The horses may be off the trail for now, but there are still plenty of ways to explore, unwind, and reconnect at Kah-Nee-Ta as summer gives way to fall. 🐴 Until next season!

Warm Springs Community Health’s Mobile Medical Clinic is set up today from noon to 2 at the housing area near the Trailer Courts called ‘Smurfville.’

At these mobile medical clinics, patients can be seen for medical problems, medications, STI tests, and - with an appointment - medical procedures.

Walk-ins and scheduled appointments with RaNeva Dowty, Dr. Frey, and Nurse Shirley are available.

During the height of the recent wildfire evacuations, Kah-Nee-Ta was fortunate to remain safe and open. That gave us the opportunity to welcome and support 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝟮,𝟭𝟬𝟬 𝗪𝗮𝗿𝗺 𝗦𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗠𝗮𝗱𝗿𝗮𝘀 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝘄𝗵𝗼 𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗲𝘃𝗮𝗰𝘂𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗻𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀, offering complimentary resort access and a place for families to get away from the fires, swim, and spend time together.

We also opened our facilities to evacuees, provided complimentary RV stays for those displaced, offered discounted meals to firefighters, and accommodated government and state personnel supporting the emergency response.

As our community moves forward, we want to continue opening our doors to those who call this place home and those who worked to protect it.
