🚲 And so it begins... the first cyclist of the season!

It’s hard to believe with the snow we just had, but spring riding has officially arrived at Hostel Tevere. We’re currently hosting a guest embarking on an epic cross-country journey—what a way to kick off the season! 🌎🚵‍♂️

Pretty soon, the racks will be full again as we welcome gravel grinders, mountain bikers, and road enthusiasts back to the hostel. Whether you’re here for the legendary gap climbs or the hidden forest trails, the Mad River Valley is ready for you.

❄️ April Fools? Not quite! 🏔️

I woke up expecting Spring, but it looks like Winter had other ideas! Waking up to fresh flakes falling was all the motivation I needed to get out and grab some April turns.

Between the cold temps over the last few days and this fresh coat of white, the conditions were some of the best we've seen all season. The best part? Zero crowds. Just straight to the chair every single run! ⛷️💨

The forecast says we’ll be back to that classic, warm spring skiing by Thursday. Come up and get that corn snow while it lasts! 🌽✨

🛶 Spring has Sprung in the Valley! ☀️

The weather is warming up, the seasons are shifting, and the energy in the Mad River Valley is officially changing gears!

Today we spotted the first kayakers of the season out on the river. Maybe they’re already training for the Mad Triathlon and its four epic events? 🏃‍♂️🚴‍♀️🛶🎿

Whether the gear is coming off the roof racks or out of the garage, it’s a beautiful time to be outside.

❄️ Fresh Tracks are Better Together! ⛷️🏂

Let’s be honest: skiing and boarding are so much more fun when you’ve got your crew with you.

Today was an absolute dream out on the slopes! We woke up to plenty of fresh powder overnight, and the flakes have been coming down most of the day. The conditions are officially all-time.

The snow is officially here in the Valley! Between the incredible start on the slopes and the fresh powder piling up at the front door, it’s been a dream winter so far.

Now for the real question: do you spend the morning shoveling the flat part of the roof, or do you gear up and hit the fresh tracks? ⛷️🏂
