Steffen's Cedar Lodge

08/09/2026

To all of our guests, friends, and family:

This is a different kind of post from our norm, but we have a favor to ask of you.

As many of you know, Adam currently serves the town of Washington Island, as the Assistant Fire Chief as well as being an EMT and Becky is a firefighter/ EMR and soon to be EMT so public safety is very important to us, especially in this wonderful, small community we live in. Sadly, our community suffered a great tragedy recently resulting in 2 young lives being lost. It is the family's wish that some good comes out of this incredible loss so they have set up a go fund me in order to advance our fire department's water rescue capabilities.

We appreciate any and all help you can provide. If you are unable to donate, please share and get the message out. Thank you

Adam, Becky, & Loren
