Governor McMaster has officially signed H.3858 into law, cutting the nation’s highest boat property taxes nearly in half and eliminating outboard engine titling and double taxation.

This didn’t happen because of politics. It happened because people spoke up.

🚤 Unanimous Win in Senate Finance

Huge news for South Carolina boaters and anglers — H.3858 passed the Full Senate Finance Committee UNANIMOUSLY and now heads to the Senate floor for debate and a final vote.

This is a major milestone. We are now one step away from sending real tax relief to the Governor’s desk.

H.3858 cuts the nation’s highest boat property taxes and eliminates outboard engine titles, putting South Carolina more in line with our neighbors and giving boat owners meaningful relief.
