The storm did a number to the trees around the inn, they remain down and blocking the front and back entrances. We are working on getting it all cleared out. In the meantime, we will not be able to accommodate guests at this time. We will keep you updated with the progress and when everything is up and running again!

Unfortunately, Waterloo took a devastating hit from the storm last night. Several trees and power lines remain down and many without power. The inn has been without power for several hours and continues to have no power. We cannot accommodate guests until we get power up and running again and the trees cleared out. We are sorry for the inconvenience. Prayers to others in the community who experienced such hardships from the storm. Together, we will rebuild!

Getting our stand up and stocked today! There will be chocolate chip, chocolate chip M & M and cinnamon roll cookies! 🍪 Next week will include homemade pop tarts and apple fritters!🍎🍏

Excited that we will soon have a self-serve bakery stand right here on the porch of our inn for our guests and the community! ☕️🍪🧁

Fun fact Friday. We have a room here at the inn called the Harmony room, named after the Gridley’s horse. Harmony’s stall remains in the carriage house today.

One of the many trails to hike right here in Waterloo and just walking distance from the inn. Our guests are always finding such great things to do locally.

As we were digging up some projects, we found a beautiful sidewalk that connects the inn to the carriage house in the back. We love finding more history here!
