We have SWAG! Stop by the Pelican Lake Recreation Area welcome center and pick up your office South Dakota State Parks t-shirts, hoodies, water bottles, and Pelican Lake stickers!
While supplies last, and we do not have the option of shipping anything. Welcome center will be open this weekend Friday until 8:30pm, Saturday Noon to 8pm, Sunday Noon to 8pm, and Monday 10am to 2pm.

Don't miss your chance to register for Glacial Lakes Youth Sportsfest on September 12! This event is open to youth ages 8-14.

Experience and learn the following skills:
• Shotgun shooting
• .22 shooting
• Muzzleloader shooting
• Turkey hunting tactics
• Waterfowl hunting skills
• Archery shooting

There is a reason we have signs up at the archery range/course that say “No Broadheads”. The blades cut the foam into chunks that fall out and ruin the core and body pieces very quickly. These targets are expensive to purchase and maintain, and shooting broadheads into them destroys these expensive targets. Please respect our rules, our targets, and your fellow archers who enjoy this 3D course. If the broadhead use continues to destroy these targets it will become too expensive to continue putting them out. Thank you!
