Our Story

Waubay, SD area campground with A-Frame cabins and RV/camping pads. We now have live water and sewer and offer seasonal site rentals! With hundreds of lakes in the immediate area, you can fish for many species!

Lake Country Campground is located in the beautiful Glacial Lakes Region of NE South Dakota. Surrounded by area lakes, we offer a place to fish and park your RV, either nightly or seasonally. If you prefer, stay the night in one of our three A frame sleeping cabins. These cabins sleep up to 5 with two full beds and a twin mattress in the loft. Each has a front deck overlooking the rolling hills and plains. These cabin rentals have been very popular with our guests! We also have sites available for you to pitch a tent. Nothing beats getting back to nature!

Area lakes within a few short miles include Waubay Lake, Pickerel Lake, Enemy Swim Lake, Bitter Lake and Blue Dog Lake.

Our clean and modern bath house has one his and one hers bathroom with double sinks, 2 toilet stalls and hot showers! Additional facilities on site include a fish cleaning room with table, sink, water and disposal location.
