🌿 Join the Mimosa Farm Team! 🌿

It takes a village to keep this little dream running, and we’re looking to add another amazing person to our team!

If you’ve ever wondered what it’s like behind the scenes at Mimosa Farm, the answer is simple: every day is different.

One minute you might be preparing a suite for arriving guests, the next you’re helping set up for an event, folding laundry, refreshing common spaces, watering flowers, or jumping in wherever an extra set of hands is needed.

We’re looking for someone who:
✨ Takes pride in their work
✨ Notices the little details
✨ Is dependable and self-motivated
✨ Doesn’t mind getting their steps in
✨ Enjoys a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same
✨ Loves helping create memorable experiences for guests

Responsibilities include:
🏡 Flipping guest suites
🧺 Laundry and light housekeeping
🌸 General property upkeep
🎉 Assisting with events
🐐 Occasionally being supervised by goats, cows, a donkey, and a dog named Max

This is a great opportunity for someone looking for flexible, part-time work in a beautiful setting.

Know someone who would be a great fit? Tag them below or send them our way!

Bonus points if they’re not afraid of a little hard work and a lot of farm charm. ❤️

🐾Remember when I told y’all about the guest who checked in, claimed to love animals, and then was personally offended by Max simply existing?

Well, the internet spoke, and it was overwhelmingly . 😂

Max would like everyone to know that he has recovered from the rejection and is thriving.

On Friday, he received a special delivery of chicken-wrapped sweet potato treats, and let me tell you, this farm dog was beside himself with excitement. He immediately approved the shipment and has already shared some with his best buddy, Biscotti.

Max believes every good snack should be shared, every guest should receive a proper welcome, and every farm should have at least one dog who thinks he’s the Director of Hospitality.

He’s hoping to make many more friends along the way and share plenty more treats in the future. (Assuming he doesn’t eat them all first.)

Who’s Team Max? 🐶❤️

🏡 Mimosa Farm Corporate Retreats

Do you own a business?

Is the revolving door of employee turnover spinning faster than you’d like?

Are you struggling with team engagement, retention, communication, or simply getting everyone rowing in the same direction?

It may be time to get your team out of the office and into an environment where real connections can happen.

At Mimosa Farm, we host intimate corporate retreats designed for small businesses, leadership teams, and organizations looking to invest in their people. Imagine spending a day (or overnight stay) brainstorming by the pool, holding strategy sessions in our sunroom, enjoying catered meals, and ending the day around a fire pit with mountain views.

Did you know? Before pursuing her dream of owning Mimosa Farm full-time, owner Jill spent 13.5 years in corporate America and served as a Vice President for a large healthcare organization. During that time, she built and led high-performing teams, developed leaders, and consistently maintained one of the lowest turnover rates among her peers.

As part of your retreat experience, Jill can facilitate curated sessions focused on:
✨ Employee retention and team engagement strategies
✨ Leadership development
✨ Building a culture people don’t want to leave
✨ Sales and relationship-building skills that help your team stand out from the competition
✨ Creating exceptional customer experiences that drive referrals and loyalty

Sometimes the best investment you can make in your business isn’t another software subscription—it’s investing in the people who make your business successful.

Dearest Gentle Readers,

Last week, Mimosa Farm was transformed into something straight from the pages of a Regency romance as we had the absolute honor of hosting a breathtaking Bridgerton-inspired bridal shower.

And when I say this bride-to-be chose a theme… I mean she chose a lifestyle.

Think elegant florals, charming details, garden-party glamour, delicate touches fit for a duchess, and enough romance to make even Lady Whistledown pause her pen. Every corner was thoughtfully designed to transport guests to another era—one where afternoon tea is mandatory, gossip is currency, and love stories are the talk of the ton.

Our bride arrived as the undisputed diamond of the season, surrounded by family and friends who showered her with love, laughter, and enough well wishes to fill every ballroom in Mayfair.

One of my favorite things about hosting events at Mimosa Farm is watching a vision become reality. A client comes to us with an idea—sometimes a simple one, sometimes wonderfully extravagant—and together we bring it to life. This celebration was proof that when creativity, amazing guests, and a beautiful setting come together, magic happens.

To our beautiful bride-to-be: thank you for trusting us with such a special chapter of your story. We wish you a lifetime filled with love, happiness, and a marriage worthy of its own happily-ever-after.

Now, tell me honestly… if you received an invitation to a Bridgerton-themed party, would you be showing up as a duchess, a debutante, or Lady Whistledown herself? 👑🌸🫖

Well friends, it finally happened.

After hosting hundreds of guests, we had our very first guest check out because of Max.

For those new here, Max is our unofficial Director of Guest Relations. His responsibilities include greeting arrivals, supervising snacks, accepting compliments, and occasionally conducting quality-control sniff inspections.

Apparently today's welcome committee was a little too enthusiastic.

The guest informed us that she does not enjoy cold, wet noses. Max was devastated to learn that not everyone appreciates his hospitality.

The good news? He has not let it affect his self-esteem. He is currently napping, completely unbothered, and preparing for his next guest greeting.

As a reminder, Mimosa Farm is exactly that—a farm. We have dogs, wild cats, cows, goats, a donkey and plenty of nature. It is the number one thing guests book for. This one discovered it was not quite her thing.

Meanwhile, Max would like everyone to know that he remains committed to providing complimentary greetings to all future guests.

Testimony Tuesday 💛

Running a small business means wearing a lot of hats. Some days I’m hosting guests, some days I’m scrubbing tubs, answering emails, meeting with couples, feeding animals, fixing things that break, or working on the next big idea for Mimosa Farm.

But on Tuesdays, I like to pause and share the part that matters most: what our guests have to say.

Every kind review, kind message, and recommendation means more than you know. When someone chooses to spend their anniversary, girls’ getaway, wedding, retreat, or much-needed escape with us, they’re trusting us with their time and memories. That’s something I never take lightly.

So for this Testimony Tuesday, I just want to say thank you. Thank you to every guest who has supported this little dream, shared a post, left a review, referred a friend, or cheered us on from the sidelines.

Your words help future guests find us, but more importantly, they remind me why I do this.

✨ If you’ve visited Mimosa Farm, I’d love to hear about your experience in the comments. Your feedback means the world to this farm girl.
