Our Greater Lafayette Chamber of Commerce has been working to better our community for almost a century. They take their mission very seriously, and on "Support Your Local Chamber of Commerce" Day we wanted to show them a bit of love and share some sweets to say THANK YOU for all that this team does to support local businesses and the Greater Lafayette community!

On November 1, we're welcoming Joe Peters & Friends to The Whittaker for an intimate evening of original folk, rock, and Americana music—and a little spontaneous joy along the way. This will be the final chance this year to attend one of our Sunday Sounds Events, so grab a seat while you can!

Joe has released 20 albums of original songs and spent years performing around the country, and he'll be joined by longtime collaborator Amanda Fletcher, a talented keyboard player and songwriter in her own right.

The evening will include live music, a savory appetizer & sweets buffet prepared by The Whittaker, and plenty of time to settle in and enjoy the music. Come listen, linger, and enjoy a Sunday night that's a little different from the usual.

Reservations are open at https://twinn.my.canva.site/sunday-sounds-1101

If you haven't heard - our Fall 2026 Dinner Menu is here, and Chef Andrew has brought some of our favorite flavors of the season to the table!

Think roasted pumpkin, sage, apples, pears, maple, c***r, mushrooms, and warm autumn vegetables—alongside some Whittaker favorites and a few new dishes we're especially excited about.

So... which one are you ordering first?

Our fall menu is served Wednesday–Sunday from 4–8 PM, and reservations along with meal selections are required in advance. We have a feeling this menu is going to make choosing dinner a little difficult.

There is always a different theme and this year as it fell over 10/6 so they had a Mad Hatter's Tea Party in honor of Mad Hatter's Day and they even had The Mad Hatter and Alice join them. 🎩 We are so thankful for them and all of you who reunion here at The Whittaker with your loved ones time and time again! Cheers ladies to another year, and we will look forward to your next visit!😊

Have you ever stood in front of a painting and wondered, “Am I supposed to know what this means?”

Or heard someone talk about being creative and thought, “Well, I'm definitely not creative.”

Those questions are at the heart of our next Beyond the "Museum" evening at The Whittaker. On October 13, we're welcoming Kerrie Bellisario, Director of The Haan Museum, for an evening centered around something we believe deeply: art is for everyone. Together over dinner, Kerrie will explore the ways our experiences with art are shaped by access, education, geography, and even the idea that you have to be “good at art” to belong in an artistic space.

Because creativity doesn't disappear just because we grow up. Sometimes, we simply forget that it's there.

Use the link below to join us for an evening of thoughtful conversation, good food, and a fresh perspective on how we experience art—and who gets to experience it.

How does someone go from tending beehives to standing on the conductor's podium?

Join us for an intimate dinner and conversation with Lafayette Symphony Orchestra Conductor and Artistic Director Kellen Gray as he shares the journey that led him to the orchestra stage. Along the way, you'll hear the stories that have shaped his career and artistic vision.

Kellen will also offer a behind-the-scenes look at the Lafayette Symphony Orchestra's 2026-27 season theme, Listen Together: why he chose it, what it means to him, and how it reflects the role music can play in bringing people together.

Finally, get an insider's preview of our season-opening concert, AutochthonoUS (September 26). Discover the stories behind the music, learn what to listen for, and gain a deeper appreciation for the works before you experience them live.

Following the talk, there will be a 3 course family style dinner prepared by Chef Andrew and the culinary team at The Whittaker Inn.

Whether you're a longtime LSO supporter or simply curious about the person behind the baton, this special evening offers a unique opportunity to connect with Kellen in a relaxed setting over a delicious meal.

Space is limited. Advance reservations are required at https://twinn.my.canva.site/beyond-the-theatre
