Owned and Operated by Jerry, Paula, Andy and Rhonda Schutt. The Schutt family purchased the inn in May 2013. Before that Jerry and Paula were farmers and owned/operated a restaurant in Darke County Ohio. Moving to Murphin Ridge Inn their son Andy met and married his wife Rhonda. Together with extended family and employees make the inn the best possible experience you could ever imagine.

We regret to inform our guests that due to unexpected maintenance/repairs and state regulations, our pool will be out of service for at least the beginning of the 2026 season (with big improvements on the way!). We sincerely apologize for any disappointment this may cause to your stay. We will have a sunning porch set up for now.

We have hired several new staff members so we are fully operational again! We have returned to the seven day a week schedule. There is even a familiar face from the past back on the Ridge. Hope to see you all soon!

At this time, we are sorry to announce that Tesla will no longer support our destination Tesla charging system at the Murphin Ridge Inn.
However, will continue to offer EV charging with the universal electric vehicle charger {near our hitching post} If you drive a Tesla you may still connect but you will need an adapter.
Tesla sent us this equipment in 2015 and can find no record of us and offered us no support{so far} we are pursuing another vendor for our charging needs, again sorry for the inconvenience.
