IYKYK. 😬
Well, it's a river, sooo… 🏞️
You got us on the "between NJ and PA" part, but that lake is actually the Middle Delaware National Scenic and Recreational River!
The Middle Delaware National Scenic & Recreational River was protected under the Wild and Scenic Rivers Act of 1968 in 1978, protecting its natural beauty, cultural importance, and recreational value for future generations.
The Delaware River is the longest undammed river east of the Mississippi. Humans have relied on it for food, water, travel, and more for thousands of years. The river has been witness to eras of human history and the development of the river valley, supporting the area and its resources through all the changes.
So, it's not "just a lake," but a river with a rich history, beautiful scenery, and recreational opportunities galore.
