🎃🧡 Getting Wet, Messy, and Learning Along the Way! 🧡🎃

Our toddlers had a blast exploring a pumpkin from the inside out! From scooping out the squishy pumpkin guts to helping carve their very own pumpkin, this hands-on experience was full of fun, discovery, and learning.

Pumpkin carving helps children develop fine motor skills, strengthen hand muscles, explore different textures and sensory experiences, build vocabulary, and practice observation and problem-solving skills as they discover what makes a pumpkin unique. 🎃✨

There were lots of giggles, messy hands, and curious minds at work today. We love creating opportunities for our little learners to explore, investigate, and learn through play!

✏️📖 ¡Hola, Families!

Our young learners in Pre-K have been hard at work practicing their Spanish skills in their journals! From writing new vocabulary words to expressing their ideas, journaling helps children build confidence in language, literacy, and communication.

We love seeing their creativity shine as they explore Spanish through writing and make meaningful connections to what they're learning in the classroom. 💛

Discovery Preschool Pumpkin Painting 🎃🖌️

Our Discovery Preschool friends had a wonderful time painting pumpkins! Through this fun fall activity, children explored creativity, color recognition, and self-expression while strengthening the fine motor skills needed for future writing success.

As the children carefully held their paintbrushes, mixed colors, and decorated their pumpkins, they were also building hand-eye coordination, concentration, and decision-making skills. Activities like pumpkin painting encourage children to express their unique ideas while fostering confidence and pride in their work.

We love providing hands-on learning experiences that combine seasonal fun with important developmental skills. Be sure to ask your child about their pumpkin masterpiece and what colors they chose to make it special! 🍂🎨🎃

Meadowlands KinderCare will be closed on Monday, October 12 in observance of Indigenous Peoples' Day.

our friends had a slithery good time creating Snake S's! As they shaped and decorated their letter S, they practiced important early literacy skills like letter recognition and fine motor development. Activities like this help build the foundation for future reading and writing while keeping learning fun and hands-on!

🎉 Celebrating 20 years of dedication, heart, and making a difference!

For two decades, Ms. Charlene has been part of the KinderCare family, beginning her journey in 2006 as a Toddler/Twos teacher before stepping into center leadership in 2010.

Reflecting on her journey, she shared, “Watching children learn and grow, supporting families through different seasons of life, and working alongside such dedicated educators have made this journey incredibly rewarding.”

Dogs can teach children so much. From kindness and empathy to patience and respect for others.


In honor of National Dog Day, we’re sharing a few simple tips to help children stay safe and build positive relationships with dogs, cats, and other animals. 🐾❤️

1. Always ask the owner before petting a dog.

2. Let a dog sniff you or your child before petting.

3. When giving treats, use a flat palm with the fingers held together.

4. Always supervise kids under the age of 5 around pets.


Small moments of guidance can help children grow confidence while helping pets feel safe and comfortable, too.
