Could a Super El Niño Deliver Another Incredible Whitefish Winter? ❄️
All summer long, we've heard the question:
"What does a Super El Niño mean for the upcoming ski season?"
History gives us plenty of reasons to be excited.
During the last Super El Niño winter, Whitefish Mountain Resort received an impressive 311 inches of snowfall. The season opened on December 5 with 37 inches of preseason snow and quickly piled up to an astonishing 122 inches within the first three weeks.
While snowfall briefly slowed in early January, winter roared back to life later in the month and continued delivering consistent conditions throughout the season. Mid-March proved exceptional, with 44 inches of fresh snow falling between March 12 and March 26 alone.
Could history repeat itself?
If you're already dreaming of powder days, mountain views, and unforgettable winter memories, now is the perfect time to start planning your Whitefish getaway.
