What an amazing Labor Day weekend it has been here at Champs Campground & RV Park! Campers have been grilling, enjoying fires, relaxing with family and friends, and making the most of this beautiful weather as summer begins to wind down.

Labor Day gives us a chance to celebrate all the hardworking people who have earned a day to relax, unwind, and enjoy moments like these. We hope everyone is having a fun, safe, and peaceful weekend!

🏕️ You don’t need an RV to enjoy Champs!

We’ve had so many amazing guests spend their nights under the stars with us this season, and we absolutely love our tent campers! 🌲⛺

With plenty of room to spread out, water & electric available, you can make your campsite as simple or as comfortable as you’d like. Bring the air mattress, mini fridge, TV, camp chairs and all the little comforts that make camp feel like home.

And when you don’t feel like cooking over the fire, we’ve got you covered — enjoy a great meal right here at our onsite restaurant! 🍔🔥

Summer isn’t over yet, and some of the best camping weather is still ahead. Then comes our absolute favorite time of year — FALL CAMPING in the Adirondacks. 🍂 Cooler nights, changing leaves, campfires and crisp mountain air… it doesn’t get much better.

The Champs Campground crew got to sneak out for a few casts this evening and managed to land this nice northern pike right before the rain rolled in! 🎣 Sometimes, a few casts are all you need.

If you’re staying with us and want to get out on the water, we have kayak rentals available right here at the campground. Or bring your own boat/kayak/canoe, like so many of our guests did last weekend for the fishing tournament!

Champs Campground is surrounded by some amazing fishing opportunities, with the South Bay boat launch just 2 miles down the road. Whether you’re chasing northern pike, bass, or just looking to spend a peaceful day on the water, this is a pretty great place to do it.

Tournament weekend is here! 🎣

🏕️ BIGFOOT FESTIVAL CAMPING UPDATE! 👣

Hello, campers! We are officially FULLY BOOKED for the annual Whitehall Bigfoot Festival! We can’t thank everyone enough for choosing to stay with us during one of the biggest weekends of the year.

⛺ LIMITED DRY TENT CAMPING AVAILABLE

We do have a few additional areas where we can accommodate tent campers. These spots will be dry camping only, meaning no water or electric hookups at the site. However, you will still have full access to our bathrooms and showers during your stay.

If you’re interested in one of these tent spots, please reach out — availability is limited!

Here are a few photos from this past weekend’s incredible catering event, put on by the one and only Champs Corner Pub & Grill!

This beautiful private party was held at Bluff Head on Lake George, with approximately 150 guests and enough amazing food prepared to serve up to 250 people. And while everything was a hit, the star of the show was without a doubt the filet mignon sliders! 🥩🔥

Champs Corner Pub & Grill may be known for its great dine-in food, but they can also bring that same quality straight to your next event. Whether you’re planning a birthday party, family reunion, wedding, anniversary, corporate event, graduation, camping get-together, or just a big celebration with friends, Champs can put together a menu and make it happen.

A little Champs Campground photo dump. It’s been an incredible summer so far, and we’re so thankful for all of the amazing people we’ve met along the way.

There’s no shortage of adventure here, from late afternoon swims at Lake George and hiking the beautiful Adirondack trails to fishing, kayaking, and relaxing around a campfire under the stars. When you get hungry, Champs Corner Pub & Grill is just steps away with great food and a laid back atmosphere.

We’ve welcomed cyclists traveling hundreds of miles, RV travelers from all across the country, and some wonderful locals. Every guest has helped make this season one to remember.

We may not be the biggest campground with giant pools and hot tubs, but if you’re looking for peace and quiet, spacious full hook-up sites, beautifully maintained grounds, incredible fishing, and an authentic Adirondack camping experience, we’d love to have you.

Think our sites are too close together? Well we give you two of them 🥳! One for your camper and the next for vehicles and extra room for activities. Nothing worse than being stacked on top of your neighbor.

Ask our staff for local suggestions and hidden gems. We are located in a beautiful area of the country and we’d love to share some of why we love it here so much with you!
