What's bubbling at the Apothecary

Hello friends!

September has arrived and around here that means the last bits of summer are being tucked away and the cauldron starts bubbling with something a little darker and woodier.

After a VERY eventful summer season, including an Ohio storm which had very strong opinions about our booth, we are turning our attention to all things fall.

NEXT STOP: WITCH FEST
In October we head back to Bloomington IN for Witch Fest, one of our favorite events, hosted by Twig and Ash Event Planning. We will have a Witch Faire exclusive soap as well as another new scent line called, "Witch Sleigh". And no, I'm not saying anything else about that one yet.

A little thank you

Hi friends,
At our most recent event, The Great Camelot Renaissance Faire a sudden storm popped up. Thankfully the surrounding vendors quickly came to help Brian and Sam and they got to shelter safely and we are forever grateful. The same can’t be said for our inventory, signs, etc.
Of what’s left, some labels got wrinkled, some packaging got dented, and a few products came away looking a little battle-worn.
The good news? The products inside are still perfectly wonderful. To try and recoup some of the money we lost we present

The field may be muddy, but Brian and Sam scored the high ground and claimed the top of the hill like seasoned adventurers. Meanwhile, our sturdy purple and yellow tent now stands proudly against both blazing sunshine and squishy terrain.

Behind every bar of soap is a little bit of magic, a lot of hard work, and in the summer, a battle against weather that can’t decide if it wants to flood you or roast you. We don’t know what the weekend holds but Brian and Sam will be standing ready with free smells, stocked shelves and good humor.

Hello, Adventurer!

It’s been a little while since you stopped by Lady Lavender’s Apothecary, so I thought I’d send a little something your way.

Whether you found us at a farmers market, Renfaire, Viking festival, Pagan market, or wandered into our little corner of the internet, thank you for bringing a piece of the Apothecary home with you.

And if that bar of soap has already vanished into the mists of the bathroom… well, we have more!

What’s brewing at the Apothecary?

The shelves are always changing around here.

New scents are making their way into the collection, seasonal soaps are appearing and disappearing like woodland creatures, and I’m always dreaming up something new for fellow adventurers.

A few current favorites:

Druid’s Dream
Lavender & patchouli for those evenings when you need to wash away the day and retreat into the woods.

Velvet Thorn
Vanilla and black currant is like black raspberry vanilla’s older more sophisticated cousin.

Blue Dragon
A sweeter, more approachable dragon-inspired scent for those who prefer their adventures with a little sugar.

And yes… the D20 soaps are still rolling into the Apothecary!

Something new for regular adventurers

I’m also working on ways to make visiting the Apothecary more fun even when you can’t make it to an event.

That means new subscription options, special seasonal goodies, little surprises, and occasional treasures that won’t necessarily appear on the market table.

After many late nights, lavender-scented mornings, and more than a little magic, I’m so excited to finally welcome you to the new online home of Lady Lavender’s Apothecary.

What began as a small dream during one of the hardest chapters of my life slowly grew into something beautiful: a peaceful little apothecary filled with handmade soaps, comforting scents, and everyday magic.

This space was created with care for fellow weary souls, cottage wanderers, renaissance faire folk, dragon lovers, book hoarders, and anyone who needs a small moment of softness in a loud world.
