What does TrueStay actually do? Here's the short version.

There are three ways we help Jersey Shore short-term rental owners:

1. A TrueStay listing ($349 a year). Your home on truestayrental.com, where guests send booking requests straight to you. No commission on bookings, ever.

2. Your own booking website, with your TrueStay listing included ($2,500 the first year, then $500 a year). Guests book and pay you directly, and the busywork runs on its own.

3. Airbnb co-hosting (10%). We help with your listing, pricing, guest communication, cleaner coordination and much more.
Every option includes short-term rental coaching from people who rent at the Shore themselves.

Heads up for Jersey Shore owners on Vrbo.

Starting October 29, Vrbo is moving hosts to a single 12% commission on bookings. Vrbo also isn't offering new annual subscriptions.

What to do this week:
1. Check your Vrbo owner dashboard for your exact new rate.
2. Look at your summer prices and decide whether they still work for you.
3. Think about where your repeat guests book. Every guest who books directly with you is a booking with no platform fee.

We made our first hire.

Meet True. No resume, no thumbs, and one very nice hat. He interviewed well, he works for treats, and he has never once complained about a Monday.
