We had some "fun" posts scheduled for tonight, but in light of today's tragedy in Connecticut, I just don't think it would be appropriate to go that route.
As I'm sure many other are, I'm feeling a range of emotions tonight - from sadness to anger to confusion. I'm also feeling quite helpless, for the victims and all who were affected.
For those who feel the same, I would like to pass along something truly GOOD (in every sense of the word), something that echoes all that is right, pure kindness, and human compassion.
This year, my hero (and I mean that with 100 percent sincerity) John Lynch and his Lunch With Lynch Foundation is hosting the 4th Annual "Lynch Who Stole Christmas (From the Grinch)" Toy, Coat and Food Card event.

This wonderful drive, in which so many members of the community at large have pitched in to help, has helped provide essentials and toys for children and families who otherwise might not receive either during the holidays.
As we all know, this has been a particularly difficult past few months for the Jersey Shore, and the cold days of winter lie ahead. So many are in need, and through this drive, we can all do our part to help.
PLEASE, PLEASE visit www.lunchwithlynch.com/grinch for all of the info, and to find out how you can participate.
In the wake of such unthinkable tragedy today, participation in this program will not only help families in desperate need, but will also put a smile on your face. I personally guarantee it. :)
Thank you, everyone. Be well.
