ALLEY ROW EVENTS | One of our favorite parts of restoring this historic building has been finding ways to reuse pieces of its story throughout the space.

We recently added a few small upgrades to Alley Row Events using scrap material saved during renovation — including a decorative electric panel cover, a new “Home” sign for the bathroom, and custom solid wood table top covers for our food and presentation tables.

Small details, but ones that add warmth, character, and a little more history to the space.

1890 LOFTS & ALLEY ROW EVENTS | Williamsburg has always been home to me. I grew up here, much of my family still lives here, and several of my family members continue to invest in this community through their own local business. When I took on the restoration of this historic building, the goal was never just to renovate a property — it was to create spaces that bring people together and contribute something meaningful back to the town that shaped me. From welcoming travelers at 1890 Lofts to hosting celebrations, gatherings, and events at Alley Row Events, we’re proud to continue investing in Williamsburg in a way that honors its history while creating spaces for new memories to be made. Having family members work alongside us throughout this project made it even more meaningful, and we’re grateful for the support this community has shown us along the way.

Each spring, the murals on our building get a refresh — and it’s one of our favorite traditions.

The artwork is created by talented students from local high schools, and every year they bring new creativity, color, and perspective to the historic brick at 1890 Lofts.

Over the past few years we’ve loved featuring their work, and it’s almost time to unveil the next round of murals for 2026.
