🍂 November is one of our favorite months downtown.
The summer crowds have thinned, the light over the Cape Fear goes low and gold by about 4:30, and you can walk the whole Riverwalk with a coffee in hand and a jacket you barely need.
If you live in North Carolina and keep meaning to do a Wilmington weekend, this is the stretch for it. Park out back, drop your bags, and you're about 500 feet from the river and a short walk from the restaurants on the downtown strip (we'll share some of our favorite spots this month).

🎃 Downtown Wilmington gets a little spookier this time of year, and we're here for it.

Front Street sits close enough to walk the ghost tour route, wander back past midnight, and still have somewhere warm and a little mysterious waiting for you. Steps away from your room at the Front Street Inn is Concorde Espresso Bar. Grab a coffee and stay as long as you like. When it’s time to head out, the Riverwalk is about 500 feet away.

It’s one of our favorite parts of staying here. You don’t have to plan around your morning coffee, because it’s waiting just a few steps from your door.

A little corner of London, right here on Front Street 🇬🇧

Our Soho London room takes its cue from one of London’s liveliest neighborhoods, and like every room at the inn, the furniture and art were chosen to fit the theme, so the space feels like its own little world the minute you open the door.

Grab a coffee from Concorde downstairs, walk the few hundred feet to the Riverwalk, and spend the day on downtown Wilmington’s restaurants and the Cape Fear River before coming back to a room that feels an ocean away (with parking waiting for you out back, which downtown doesn’t hand out easily).

The building has watched the city grow up around it, and it's still standing right where it started, steps from the Cape Fear River and close enough to walk to dinner, drinks, and the Riverwalk.
