🖤 HONORING A LEGACY: THE M/s GATHERING MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP

Some people leave a mark on our community that never truly fades.

They are the people who took time to mentor someone, shared what they knew, offered support when it mattered, or helped others find their place. They may have led, taught, encouraged, or simply shown up when someone needed them.

Even after they are gone, their influence lives on in the people they touched and the community they helped build.

Each year, The M/s Gathering Memorial Scholarship honors a community member who has passed away and who embodied the spirit of service, learning, and community.

As we look toward MsG 2027, we'd like to invite you to help us recognize someone whose life and contributions deserve to be remembered.

Have you ever had an experience, learned a lesson, or wrestled with a question about M/s that you wished you could discuss with others?

Maybe you've thought about presenting at an event but weren't sure you had enough experience. Maybe you're not a presenter at all—but you have a perspective that could help someone else.

We want to hear from you! ❤️

One of the things that makes The M/s Gathering different is our commitment to making room for community voices. We believe learning doesn't happen only when someone stands at the front of a room and teaches. Sometimes the most meaningful learning happens when someone shares an experience, asks a thoughtful question, or starts a conversation that takes everyone somewhere unexpected.

That's the heart of our Community-Led Discussions!

✨ You don't need to be a professional presenter.
✨ You don't need previous presenting experience.
✨ You just need a topic or perspective worth exploring.

We're looking for discussion leaders interested in:

🔹 M/s — from beginner to advanced
🔹 M/s + B**M — exploring where these worlds intersect
🔹 M/s + Leather — the connections, experiences, and questions that bring these communities together

Here's how it works: prepare approximately 10 minutes of material to introduce your topic, and then the discussion opens to the room. The goal isn't to have all the answers. It's to create space for people to share, learn, ask questions, and explore together.

✨ Meet Lee Harrington — one of our Special Guests for The M/s Gathering 2027! ✨

What happens when sexuality, spirituality, identity, relationships, and self-discovery all become part of the same conversation?

That’s where Lee Harrington (he/they) thrives.

Lee is a spiritual and erotic authenticity educator, gender explorer, eclectic artist, award-winning author and editor, and longtime voice in sexuality and alternative relationship communities. Over the course of their career, Lee has taught classes throughout the U.S. and internationally, covering topics ranging from gender and sexuality to communication, kink and B**M, erotic authenticity, rope bo***ge, spirituality, and sacred sexuality.

They are the author of books including Sacred Kink, Traversing Gender, Sh***ri You Can Use, and Playing Well With Others, and have built a career around making complex subjects accessible, thoughtful, engaging—and sometimes delightfully playful.

Lee believes we are all beautifully complex human beings, and that meaningful exploration happens when we give ourselves permission to be curious about who we are and how we connect with others.

We’re excited to have Lee join us for The M/s Gathering 2027 and can’t wait to see where the conversations take us.

YOUR VOICE BELONGS HERE

One of the reasons The M/s Gathering was created was to give our community new voices, new perspectives, and new opportunities to share what we’ve learned.

Do you have a topic you’re passionate about? Something you’ve experienced, learned, questioned, or explored that you’d love to discuss with others?

We’re looking for Community-Led Discussion Leaders for MsG 2027!

And you do not need previous presenting or teaching experience.

Our discussions generally fall into three categories:

M/s:
From beginning your M/s journey through more advanced relationship dynamics, experiences, challenges, and practices.

The Intersection of M/s & B**M:
Exploring the places where M/s and the broader B**M community, practices, philosophies, and dynamics intersect.

The Intersection of M/s & Leather:
Exploring the relationship between M/s and Leather, including culture, community, identity, traditions, and experiences.

You also don't need to prepare a traditional hour-long presentation.

Approximately 10 minutes of material is all you need. Introduce your topic, share your thoughts or experience, and then open the conversation to everyone in the room.

That’s one of the things that makes MsG such a great place to get started. We’re a discussion-based gathering. We believe the best conversations happen when everyone has a chance to participate.
