Bucktail Lodge is a family-owned resort, bar, restaurant, and cabin destination located on Barker Lake near the eastern fork of the Chippewa Flowage in Winter, Wisconsin. It has become a popular stop for anglers, ATV/UTV riders, snowmobilers, and visitors looking to experience the Northwoods year-round.

The History

The property was formerly known as Circle B Resort. The Schnering family purchased it in 1997, and it has remained family-owned ever since. Joseph Schnering and Krista Haus later took ownership and began extensive renovations, including redesigning the bar and modernizing the resort while maintaining its Northwoods atmosphere.
