Wow… today was one of those “how did we survive that?” kind of days.Everything that could happen… did.• Our 100-foot pin...

Wow… today was one of those “how did we survive that?” kind of days.

Everything that could happen… did.

• Our 100-foot pine tree (that’s been cracked and stressing me out for 2+ weeks) finally came down—just days before a wedding. By some miracle, a tree company from over an hour away showed up at the 11th hour and took it down safely. Huge relief.

• Our main bar cooler decided to stop cooling (of course 😅). After the 3rd service call… we’re hoping it’s good to go for tomorrow.

• Then came septic panic mode… with a full weekend ahead. One emergency call later—they showed up and took care of it. Crisis averted.

• Tent company? ✔️ Set up smooth.
• Wedding space? ✔️ Last-minute touches done.
• Ready room? ✔️ Came together with the help of a good friend.
• Wedding couple walk through ✔️
• YouTube vlogger in the dome? ✔️ Hosted and ready.
• Regular guests? ✔️ Taken care of.

And just when we thought we could breathe… 🚨 tornado warning.

Making sure guests were safe, running around securing the property, waiting for the all-clear…

Deep breath.

Days like today are overwhelming, exhausting, and honestly a little crazy—but they’re also a reminder of why we do this.

Because somehow… everything came together.

Definitely felt the power of God in all of it today. 🙏

Some days, running Sandstone feels… really overwhelming.

There are moments where the weight of it all hits—the responsibilities, the decisions, the constant pouring out of ourselves to make everything just right. It’s not always easy.

But here’s the truth… it’s something I would never change. Not for a second.

Sandstone has always been a passion project—a true labor of love. We don’t just run a business here… we get to be stewards of something incredibly special. This land, these spaces, the moments created here—they matter. And being part of that is something we don’t take lightly.

Then a review comes through… and it stops us in our tracks.

It reminds us why we started.
Why we keep going.
Why we give so much of ourselves to this place.

To our amazing guests—thank you.
Thank you for seeing it.
Thank you for feeling it.
And thank you for reminding us, time and time again, why we do what we do. 🤍

NEW SUMMER VIBES IN THE DELLS!Okay… this is your sign to add this to your summer bucket list 👇☀️

We checked out “The Landing” in the Dells and WOW… what a great space. An outdoor bar right on the river, live music, sunshine, and the kind of energy that just makes you want to stay all day. 🍹🎶

But let’s talk about the real star… Eddie’s Grill parked right next door serving up straight-up LIFE CHANGING tacos 🌮🔥 (yes… they’re that good).

This place is bringing a whole new vibe to the Dells and we are here for it.
