Tucked inside the Canebrake Ecological Preserve, the old Bloomfield Ranch rock house still catches your eye from the trail. So we have been setting up the tipi and dealing with wind for weeks. Stability of the structure needs to be enforced and tied down with bolts to the concrete slab.

But she is so elegant and beautiful overlooking the water. Once we conquer that setbeck, she will be a lovely cool and restful retreat, even in this desert heat! Guests will be a few steps from splashing into a chilly stream, surrounded by birds, plants and countryside.
