Just a reminder that today is the last day to sign up for our co-ed Pink Ladies doubles dart league that will start next week on Thursday the 18th!

It's time to start sign ups for our next dart league!

We will be doing our co-ed Pink Ladies doubles league. The teams for this league must be either two women or one woman and one man.

League will start Thursday June 18th at 7:30pm and be every Thursday night. The number of weeks we throw will be determined by the number of teams we have sign up, but it will be at least enough weeks to allow all the ladies to qualify for the Pink Ladies State Dart Tournament in October.

Each match will consist of 9 games of '01.

Sign ups for this league will be due by this Friday June 12th.

Come celebrate 25 years with the KLK krew on Saturday, June 27th!

The bar will open at 2pm with food ready at 5pm. Food will be set up buffet style, helps yourselves.

Let's enjoy a day of drinking, good food, and sharing memories with all our friends!

It is here and I think he would be proud! Our hearts ache but we smile with the memories he gave us. A little glare because we don’t have it hung yet but it is definitely our Bernie!

It is so fun to see people come out and shoot prairie dogs for the first time. She is from Mississippi so not necessarily enjoying our cold snap but having a good time!

Rough day for all friends, family and hunters. No words to express the hole this loss is going to leave at KLK. I got Bernie (and Charlie) when I bought the bar 25 years ago. Little did I know then, they would be two of the most important men in my life. Bernie was the heart and soul of our dart league. He knew out numbers better than anyone I ever watched play the game and mentored every player at KLK. Hunters requested him year after year. In the 20 plus years he guided our hunters, he was late ONE time with a flat tire. He called to let us know and was only 10 minutes late.

Bernie—I can say beyond a shadow of a doubt—you may not be at kLK in the flesh but boy did you leave a legacy. We thank you and we honor. Tonight, and from this time forward, we hold our glasses with your renowned toast—‘Here’s to swimming with bowlegged women, may they never drowned!’

I still can’t quite fathom a life without Bernie. Wanted to share the information regarding the wake and funeral.

Here is the Wake and Funeral arrangements for:

Bernie Willcuts, age 68 of Okreek, passed away on Thursday, April 16, 2026, in Sioux Falls, SD.

Wake Service: 7pm Friday, April 24th, 2026 at the Okreek School Gym, Okreek, SD.

Caravan: at 1pm Friday, April 24th, 2026, from the Rosebud Casino to the Okreek School Gym, Okreek, SD.

Funeral & Final viewing: 1pm Saturday April 25th, 2026, at the Okreek School Gym Okreek, SD.

Private inurnment at a later date at Calvary Episcopal Cemetery in Okreek.

Dart tournament happening this afternoon at KLK!

The bar will be open at 2pm for anybody wanting to throw or just come hang out!
