Some reviews stay with you.

This family came to us searching for the right place to hold a Celebration of Life for someone they loved — a woman who had made Woodland Park her home. We're so honored they chose Edgewood Inn, and that we could take even a little weight off their shoulders during such a tender time.

In their words:

"It is literally the most beautiful place we've ever seen! Every single detail is perfection! The views are unbeatable!! ... We were obviously grieving our loved one, so finding the perfect place took some of the stress of planning away, and once we saw how perfect it was, it made the process of celebrating so much easier! They even let us use their private movie theater to show a video of our loved one's life ... Our experience was delightful! The owners are GEMS! You will NOT regret it!"

Our favorite part? Their 18-year-old son — who, they told us, never notices things like this — looked around and said, "I've never seen something so beautiful." Then he let us know he'd like to get married here one day. We'll be here.

There's something about that first kiss as husband and wife — framed by pine trees and mountain light on the porch here at Edgewood Inn. This is exactly why we fell in love with Woodland Park as a wedding backdrop: the forest does half the decorating for you.

There's a particular kind of stillness that settles over Edgewood Inn right before a ceremony — the mountains just sit there in the background like they've been waiting for this too. Still thinking about these blooms 🧡

A few weeks back, one of our Edgewood Inn couples carried the whole feel of a Woodland Park summer down the aisle — zinnias, snapdragons, blush roses, yarrow, and wild daisies gathered into the kind of bouquet that looks like it was picked straight from a mountain meadow. That's the thing we love about hosting weddings up here: the flowers don't fight the scenery; they just join in.
